Cyrenian Way Retreat

September 12

There is a longing in the human heart that never goes away. The longing to be seen.  To be known.  To be heard without being fixed.   To be loved without performing.

Most of us carry hidden burdens. Questions. Wounds. Hopes we barely say out loud. We scroll. We achieve. We serve. We stay busy. And still — something deeper calls.

The Cyrenian Way Retreat is an invitation to answer that call.

Join Fr. Jason Hage, founder of the Cyrenian Apostolate and author of The Cyrenian Way: Spiritual  Poverty & The Art of Accompaniment, September 11-13, 2026 at The Good News Center. The retreat begins Friday at 4 pm and ends Sunday at noon. This first-of-its-kind retreat is a bold and beautiful encounter for those who want more than surface-level faith. More than inspiration. More than information. Over one transformative weekend, you will enter into: Real silence that strengthens instead of isolates; Eucharistic prayer that anchors the soul; Dynamic teaching and formation with Fr. Hage; Honest storytelling in a community that truly listens; Practical training in the art of accompaniment; Brotherhood and sisterhood.

You will be invited to bring your whole story- your wounds, your questions, your desire for something real and discover that weakness is not a liability in the spiritual life. It is the doorway.

The Cyrenian Way teaches a simple but life-altering truth: when we stop guarding our image and begin offering our undivided love and attention to God and to one another, everything shifts. Prayer becomes alive. Relationships become deeper. Your faith becomes embodied and courageous.

Space is limited. Full payment is required by August 31, 2026. The retreat weekend includes: lodging-two breakfasts, one lunch and two dinners. The cost is $349 per person or $499 per couple. To register please call The Good News Center at 315-735-6210 Monday-Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm.
