We welcome Maria Esperanza-Foley for our Good News Luncheon on Thursday, May 7th from 11 am to 1 pm. Maria will share memories of her mom, Maria Esperanza, and her apparitions of Mother Mary. She will also talk about how Maria taught her about the unity of families through forgiveness and reconciliation. Maria Esperanza’s passion led her to create the Betania Foundation to develop the well-being of society, foster family life and promote social justice.
Maria Esperanza-Foley is a sociologist and has worked as a member of the Betania Spirituality Movement as well as with the Betania II Spiritual Retreat and Conference Center in Massachusetts. Maria shares her mother’s sentiment that “the family is to be the hope of humanity.”
