If you drove by the Memorial Parkway from November 4th to 11th, you were sure to be moved by the display of 1,000 American flags fluttering in the breeze. During the past eleven years, The Good News Foundation has been able to donate $227,750 to veterans and active military organizations throughout the local community.
In 2025, The Good News Foundation donated $30,000 to Sitrin’s Military Program, the largest donation to date!! None of this would be possible without the hard work and dedication of the Good News staff, our volunteers, and all the sponsors. Each year we are thankful for the support and assistance we receive from so many generous individuals and businesses.
The Good News Foundation is very proud to be able to donate the proceeds to Sitrin’s Military Program. The Program is designed to treat veterans and service members experiencing physical, emotional, and cognitive issues. The program is different from conventional veteran care, personalizing treatment options and social activities based on each individual’s needs and interests. Those who have experienced traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries, amputations, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideations, and other symptoms have benefited from Sitrin’s unique approach to care.
