Joanne Destefano, local artist, writer, and instructor will present The Good News Center’s first , Paint, Sip and Pray Evening.
“Peace Like A River” will be the theme as Joanne demonstrates and instructs her interpretation of “peace.” Be ready to experience this RELAXING adventure as you dare to splash color on a blank canvas and tell your story under Joanne’s directive.
Also a motivational speaker on Anxiety Recovery, Joanne incorporates ‘visuals’ of mixed-media art where she ‘gathers’ and tears up ‘unsuccessful’ paintings and collages them back together in a beautiful design to convey what God does to our lives. He ‘gathers’ ALL our experiences, throws nothing away, and USES our torn pieces to create something beautiful! Join us as you create your own MASTER-PEACE! “We all have stories to tell. Life and art create many messes, but when we focus on the ‘ugly’ stuff, we don’t see the good things happening in the midst of it!”
The evening includes all supplies, instruction, wine and a grazing board. The cost is $35 per person.
